Print the test documents. Identify the errors and indicate how you would fix them. Then compare your answers to ours by viewing the answer documents, which show how AVS would correct the errors (in highlighted text) and describe the reasons for the corrections.

Note: In some cases, there are multiple ways to eliminate the problem—for instance, by rewriting the offending text. Therefore, some of your answers may correctly address the problems, yet differ from ours.

I recently purchased one of your air hockey sets (Model # AH344) for our family. Unfortunatly, after viewing the components that came with the product, I discovered that some of the parts were missing. 4 of them, in fact. Also, the instructions that came with the set are in-complete. Both of these situations have caused the set to remain unassembled, unacceptable for use by my family, who is real disappointed.

I am writing to request both replacements for the mising parts, and a copy of the full-set of assembly directions for the model I purchased. If reasonable arrangements are not made within ten business days, I will return the set to the store I purchased it from and expect a full refund. To assist you in processing my request, I am including copy of my sales receipt and a list of the missing parts, each of which are provided with your part number.

I have purchased other items manufactured by your company in the past, and have always been impressed with the quality and selection you company has made available to it’s customers. I sincerely hope this is a onetime incident that any future purchases I make will live up to standards my family have come to expect from your company.
