Dairyland Power Cooperative was looking for an experienced Web development team that could implement major design and functionality changes in their Web site. The Cooperative’s goals were to incorporate their new logo, improve navigation, and facilitate ongoing communication with key audiences.  Dairyland Power Cooperative found this expertise in the AVS Group. 

The AVS Group creatively integrated Dairyland Power Cooperative’s new logo in the redesign, giving the Web site a fresh, dynamic, and professional feel. The team at AVS also increased the functionality of the Web site by providing custom content management tools, an on-line job application, a search function and varying levels of secure access for specific user groups.

• Enhances the overall look and feel of the site by including Flash graphics on the home page and attractive photographs throughout the entire Web site.
• Contains informative “Who We Are” section including historical information, biographies, mission statement, the Annual Report, and more.
• Demonstrates Dairyland Power’s commitment to the environment and the community by providing an “Education” page and an “Environment” page highlighting each of Dairyland Power’s renewable energy sources, and also featuring conservation programs and tips, links to other education sites, and more.
• Provides a fun incentive for continued site visitation by including a “bird cam” so visitors can view Peregrine falcons nesting (in season).

“Throughout our Web site development project, the AVS Group focused on our ultimate goal—to develop a new Web site to enhance communication with our members, potential employees and the communities where we operate.  We are thrilled with the new look and site navigation that better targets our cooperative’s needs.
